Few days ago, the actor in an interview with Zion Felix questioned the leadership of NDC why they re-elected John Dramani Mahama as their flagbearer for 2020 election after he was vehemently denied by Ghanaians during the 2016 elections.
He asserted in the interview that NDC electing ex President as their flagbearer is an insult to Ghanaians. In the interview, he asked if within the NDC party there was no sensible and able person to lead the party apart from John Dramani Mahama.
As usual, his comments didn’t go down well with some NDC faithfuls. They launch their attacks on him. He was lambasted, threatened and insulted.
Reacting to the attacks and insults, the actor said Ghana is a democratic country and for that, one has the liberty to express and share his/her opinions on issues he/she prefers. That’s not a measuring tool for the NDC to insult him if they do not share the same opinion.
“To my brothers in the NDC who do not agree with me on my views on issue. It is alright not to agree, you at liberty not to agree or accept everything I say.
However, if you attack me will defend myself with all I have, the past few days I have endured enough of your threats, insults and attacks.
We live in a country where the law works?? So therefore you foolishly come attack me, because you fighting for a man who don’t even know u exist all in the name of “part faithfuls” just so you know, I am equally not soft like that.
I grew up the hard way in Kokomlemle, tiptoe lane, nima, and adabraka
Stardom is what humbled me, my other side not good at all. So pls let us all respect ourselves and love ourselves. You can agree to disagree with me, that is the beauty of Democracy. But don’t threaten me or attack me, for you might be shocked at how I will defend myself??? Thank you? Gm!” he posted
